Day of Champions 2022

The world famous Day of Champions is back in full force for this year's Monster Energy British Grand Prix on August 4 at the iconic Silverstone circuit!

A ride-in, paddock access, a scheduled pitlane walk, charity auctions, on-stage entertainment and all the stars of MotoGP™ taking part will be back to kickstart the 2022 British Grand Prix on the Thursday. And we can’t wait to see you there!

Riders from all three MotoGP™, Moto2 and Moto3 classes, teams, and manufacturers have added unique items to the auction which will kick off at 3pm and run until 8pm live on the main stage at Silverstone.

The auction

Headlining the auction items is the signed chequered flag that brought an end to the final race of nine-times world champion Valentino Rossi’s MotoGP™ career at Valencia in 2021. Not only has the GOAT himself signed the flag but also legendary Brazilian footballer, Ronaldo, who was there as Valentino’s friend and waved chequered flag himself! The flag will come with a certificate of authenticity.

The Ride-In

Ride-in to Silverstone with hundreds of racing fans, and take to the track for a few laps of the iconic Silverstone Circuit, led by racing legends Randy Mamola and Niall Mackenzie!

The ride-in starts at the WILLOUGHBY CAFÉ in Rugby, Warwickshire, and stops off at the Super Sausage Café for breakfast before heading to Silverstone Circuit for a few laps of the legendary track.
