The Riders for Health motorcycle fleet in The Gambia that we support is ageing. With many vehicles running past their optimum lifetime of five years, we are working to replace the whole fleet, with a target to buy 35 in 2024. And we need your help!

By gifting a motorcycle in 2024 you’ll be ensuring health workers in The Gambia can continue to deliver life saving healthcare to hard to reach and vulnerable communities.

The Riders for Health programmes we support use  train health workers to ride safely and carry out daily and weekly check on their vehicles. Riders’ fuel and maintenance hubs around the whole country mean vehicles run reliably day-in, day-out no matter how remote the communities they serve. And the Yamaha AG motorcycles used are ideal for difficult terrain, easy to maintain and economical to to buy and run.

How to take part

Imagine knowing that there is a motorcycle with your name on it making a huge impact on peoples’ lives! For each motorcycle bought we’ll add a vinyl decal with the names or logos of the donors to the bike.

Simply donate £1400 using the link below and we’ll be in touch to talk to you about the vehicle you’ve purchased. What you’d like to appear on the decal and when it will be shipped.

Or if you would like to find out more from  a member of our team you can contact us on [email protected] and we’ll get straight back.
