2018 Review

Fundraising Figures and the Impact of our Work

2018 was a great year for fundraising. With our biggest ever total raised at Day of Champions and a boost from our online auctions  we’ve been able to make huge progress in the programmes we support.

This includes funding:

20 motorcycles and rider training for health workers

in Lesotho, meaning 200 more communities can be reached safely and reliably.

Data gathering tools for ambulances and motorbikes

Trialled an exciting project to enable efficient running and effective monitoring and reporting of healthcare data.

140 sample transport bags

Sample transport bags mean test results and samples can reach labs quickly and reliably, leading to speedy diagnosis and treatment of diseases.

We also funded a sample transport workshop in Zimbabwe, a power generator for the Malawi workshop and an international maintenance training workshop.
