Leave a Powerful Legacy

If you are thinking of leaving a gift to Two Wheels for Life in your will, thank you! Your gift would help us to continue to transform healthcare across Africa.

Leaving a legacy to Two Wheels

If like us, you understand the dire problems for people accessing healthcare around the globe and can see the vital importance of healthcare delivery – you may want to commit to supporting our work even after you are gone.

By leaving legacy with Two Wheels for Life you can help us create a future in which healthcare reaches everyone, everywhere.

How to get started

Leaving a gift in your will is relatively simple. You can leave a gift as either a fixed sum of money (known as a pecuniary gift), a specific item such as a motorcycle, or a percentage share of your estate. There is no need to let us know your intentions, and you can change your mind at any time.

Using a solicitor to write your will

If you already have your own solicitor or plan to use one, all you need to do is discuss your intentions with them when making or updating your will and add the Two Wheels for Life’s details (see below) in the appropriate section. We advise checking back from time to check our address is still the same as we do need to change addresses occasionally.

Why giving to charity in your will can be practical and help you live your life better

Andrew always enjoyed raising money for charitable causes, and he say leaving money in his will is just an extension of that. Having cancer forced him to think carefully about what would happen after he was gone. But he also found out that it was a practical decision, as by leaving more than 10% of his assets to charity he reduced his inheritance tax bill so he'd be helping the charity and also making sure his other beneficiaries receive more.
